Philip F. Alfieri, President & CFO

Phil has over 25 years of global experience as an principal investor, advisor and financier of operational assets and greenfield infrastructure projects, representing transactions aggregating over $20 billion. Phil’s international expertise spans public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, operating leasing, project finance, partnership investment restructuring. Phil led international, multi-disciplined investment and financing deal teams for origination, operational and technical due diligence, debt and equity structuring and syndication and execution of financial transactions across the energy, transportation, and water industry sectors. These infrastructure advisory mandates were on behalf of institutional investors, infrastructure funds, commercial and investment banks, government agencies and municipalities and multinational corporations. Phil has advised the US Department of Transportation on some of the largest P3 transportation projects in Texas, Maryland, Florida and California. He has held fiduciary and leadership roles for EF Hutton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Citibank, Global Capital Finance, LaSalle Investment Management and Franklin Templeton.

Thomas Mills, Business Development

Tom has over 30 years of experience in corporate senior executive roles in strategic planning, marketing and business development for industrial operations, water technologies and petrochemical industries.  Tom was Vice President, Strategic Development for Severn Trent Services US Operating Services business providing long-term operational and maintenance services to water and wastewater systems for municipal and industrial customers in 23 US states. While at STS, Tom also had responsibility for water technologies business development, new product development, M&A and partnership activities. Prior to Severn Trent, Tom was the Marketing Manager for the Americas region for Lyondell Petrochemical Company where he directed industrial operations for their Propylene Oxide and derivatives and Styrene Monomer businesses in the US and Canada with over $650 million of revenues. Toms technical training includes Organizational Dynamics, University of Pennsylvania; Chemistry, Duke University; accounting University of Delaware.

Luis C. Gonzalez, Electrical Engineer

Luis is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 40 years of experience in design, construction and project management of electric generating stations, and other major industrial and commercial projects. Island Structures & Luis has been involved in numerous new construction and major modification projects. Luis is accomplished in a broad range of engineering and management services, including project management, construction management, due diligence evaluation and power system studies work. In addition, Luis is also experienced in design and specification work for power distribution, lighting, grounding and distributed control systems, as well as in training and start-up testing activities. Luis was Assistant Chief and Chief Electrical Engineer at two major A/E  firms, Ebasco and Burns & Roe (now Power Engineers), Vice President and President of wholly-owned subsidiaries of two major international corporations ABB and Alstom (now General Electric).

Bob McGill, Managing Director

Bob has over 25 years Executive experience in Product Development, Analytics & Sales. As Managing Director of GAES, Bob is responsible for client relationships, business development, data analytics, product development and supplier relations. A lighting consultant with New York State, participating in two statewide initiatives: Executive Order 88 to reduce energy consumption by 20 % by 2020; Establishing a State Green Procurement (EO4) in developing LED fixtures dedicated to the simultaneous pursuit of environmental quality, sound public health, economic prosperity and social well-being. GAES maintains strategic business relationships with LED lighting manufacturing partners both in US and overseas; MBE (Minority Business Enterprises); NYSID (New York State Industries for the Disabled) Preferred Purchasing Source for NYS Office of Government Services. Clients include NYS Agencies & Private Commercial Properties.

Herkimer Industries ARC

Herkimer Industries (HI)) provides product distribution on high-efficiency performance LED Lighting for commercial and industrial use, having ISO compliant quality assurance, and worldwide distribution. HI is a Producing Affiliate of the AbilityOne Program and a Preferred Source Vendor for the New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID). Herkimer Industries has over 40 years of experience, with demonstrated past performance for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Armed Forces Recruiting Command. Herkimer Industries is the vocational division of the Arc Herkimer, a nonprofit agency providing vital services and meaningful opportunities daily for 861 individuals with disabilities and their families.

Eric Vitale, Master Electrician

Eric has over 30 years experience as a certified master electician & project planner. Eric has provided services for landmark and public work projects in the City of New York such as: Museum of the City of New York, McCarren Pool Restoration, Weeksville Heritage Center, Queens Theater in the Park, Jacobi Medical Center. Eric also works with many of New York City’s top construction management groups. Eric works within a team structure with clients and internal team members to provide delivery of successful LED Lighting Project Installations within the Northeast and National markets. Reviews layout electrical distribution systems, electrical devices, lighting fixtures, lighting controls and sensors. Calculate component loads for system evaluation as relates to specific facility, code and client requirements if needed. Eric works with GAES projects Certified Electricians for all markets.
